Meet Shannon: Developer, Designer, Artist, and Service Dog Partner

I help small businesses look professional online with clean, modern websites and custom graphic design. My goal is simple: make your business stand out and make your life easier.

I’m a certified full‑stack developer and professional graphic designer based in California — but before anything else, I’m an artist at heart. I’ve been creating art my entire life, and that creative foundation shapes everything I build. Whether it’s a website layout, a brand identity, or a custom graphic, I approach each project with an artist’s eye for detail, color, balance, and emotion.

Meet Calipso — My Service Dog and Studio Companion

Calipso is my trained service dog and constant companion. She’s with me during every project, every meeting, and every creative session. She keeps me grounded, focused, and supported — and yes, she occasionally supervises my design work with very serious tail wags.

Clients love her presence because she brings warmth, calm, and personality to my work. She’s part of my daily life and part of my business, and she reminds me why I love helping people: because connection matters.

Why I Do This

Small businesses deserve high‑quality digital tools without agency‑level pricing. I started Full Stack Shannon to give business owners a place where they can get:

  • Clear communication

  • Transparent pricing

  • Friendly collaboration

  • Professional results

  • A website they’re proud of

I combine technical skill with artistic intuition to create websites that feel alive, intentional, and uniquely yours.

My Approach

I blend design + development so you don’t have to hire multiple people. Every project includes:

  • Custom design

  • Full‑stack development

  • Mobile‑ready layouts

  • SEO‑friendly structure

  • Fast load speeds

  • Easy editing

  • Ongoing support

I keep the process simple, stress‑free, and focused on your goals.

A Little More About Me

When I’m not building websites or designing graphics, I’m usually painting, sketching, or exploring new creative techniques. Art is my first language — coding is my second — and together they help me build digital experiences that feel both functional and beautiful.

And of course, Calipso is always right beside me, ready for the next project.

About

Meet Your Designer

Artist, Maker, Explorer: Life Outside the Code

When I’m not building websites or designing graphics, I’m usually making something — and I mean anything. I’m an artist in every sense of the word, exploring just about every medium you can name: acrylic, oil, alcohol markers, watercolor, 3D printing, and laser cutting. While I don’t own a 3D printer or laser cutter myself, I head over to the shelter I stayed at for three years to use their equipment and bring those digital ideas into the physical world. If it can be turned into art, I’ve probably tried it. If it can’t, I’ve probably tried anyway.

On the Trails with Calipso

I’m also a hiker at heart. I love quiet trails, tall trees, and the kind of fresh air that makes you forget you own a phone.

My service dog Calipso comes with me everywhere — she’s part adventure buddy, part emotional support, part creative consultant. She has very strong opinions about which sticks are “art supplies.”

Simple Spaces and Big Curiosity

I’m a tiny‑house enthusiast too, and I love designing blueprints for tiny homes. I’m passionate about simple living, cozy spaces, and the idea that life doesn’t need to be big to be meaningful. Give me a small cabin, a sketchbook, a cup of coffee, and Calipso snoring in the corner, and I’m in my happy place.

Above all, I’m passionate about learning. New tools, new techniques, new technologies — I’m always exploring something. Creativity and curiosity shape everything I do, whether I’m building a website, designing a logo, or figuring out how to 3D‑print a tiny dragon just because it sounded fun.

Life is better when you’re making things, exploring things, and learning things — and that’s the energy I bring into every project.

From Canvas to Code: Expressing my Artistic Flair

A collage of ten colorful artworks includes abstract figures, a stylized woman, blooming trees, roses, a cartoon dog, starry skies, a vibrant sunrise over a river, and a whimsical house with hearts, each piece showcasing bold, expressive use of color and brushstrokes.

A collage of nine artworks includes colorful sketches of women, a lighthouse scene, detailed buildings, a portrait, and three abstract or landscape paintings featuring rocks, water, trees, and bright skies. Mediums vary between pencil, colored pencil, and paint.
A blue T-shirt floats mid-air. The shirt features a pink and orange lotus flower above the word “Balance” in white. Below, a cartoon sloth sits cross-legged, meditating. The background is neutral and softly blurred.
Six fluffy chickens of various colors sit on a teal wooden bench outdoors, surrounded by leafy greenery. Sunlight streams in from the upper right, creating a lens flare effect. The background is softly blurred, highlighting the chickens.
